Traveling to India is all about a heavenly experience where one gets to indulge into a diversified cultural journey, delectable cuisines and spectacular landscapes. Everything is there in India - be it beaches, mountains, hill stations, ancient ruins, national parks or historical places. It is all about exploring various aspects of memorable experiences. 

When you visit India, you indulge yourself on a journey that takes you through varied shades of cultural experiences all within one country in itself. Traveling to each of these places be it beaches, national parks, hill stations, UNESCO sites and other places is pretty comfortable thanks to the best routed roadways, airways and waterways. 

Indian Festivals 


Festivals in India are all about high spirits, happiness, fun, diverse traditions and loads of enthusiasm. Nobody celebrates festival like India. One enjoys celebrating festivals in India not just because of its ethnic and cultural importance but also because of the delectable cuisine that is cooked in every household during that day as well as the grandeur that comes with it. Festival brings people together. Festival makes everyone happy. Festival is one of the pillar that supports and showcases the Indian culture. With so many states across India, there are n number of festivals celebrated here. Some of the popular festivals being Diwali, Holi, Navratri, Dussehra, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid, Krishna Janmashtami and so on. 

Apart from these, there are many other local festivals celebrated in different states of India. There are a few festivals that are popular in India and also encourage tourism in those particular states during that period. These may not be a typical traditional festival but it has its own legacy, fun and importance. Here is a list of some festivals that are one of the reasons for tourism in India:
